– likeness to sensations experienced during scuba diving & sky diving

– sci-fi obelisk; wave of whoa! upon entering the lab

– noticeable adrenal effects with saliva & brief nausea

– focus on belly breaths & steady heart rate; reduced overwhelm with eye mask

– earplugs made zero difference in reducing the intense volume
